Claude Artifacts

When you ask Claude to produce something substantial, it can open an Artifact panel beside the conversation instead of dumping everything into the chat thread. That panel holds the output as a living object: a React component, an HTML page, a Markdown doc, a diagram, or even a downloadable file. You keep chatting to refine it; Claude updates the artifact in place.
The practical payoff is tight iteration. Because the output sits in its own pane, you can see changes accumulate in real time instead of wading through a wall of re-generated text. Artifacts can also be shared as standalone links, which makes them useful for handing a working prototype or document to someone who isn't in the same Claude session.
Builders often use Artifacts as a rapid prototyping surface: sketch a UI, generate a data viz, or draft a spec document, all without leaving the chat. The related Projects feature keeps a persistent workspace around those artifacts so context carries across sessions.
