Claude Dashboards

Also known as: Anthropic Dashboards, Claude live dashboards

An Anthropic beta feature that connects Claude to a company's data sources and turns plain-language questions into live, auto-refreshing charts. Each figure on the dashboard links back to the query that produced it, so results stay auditable.

Claude Dashboards launched on October 8, 2026, alongside Claude Motion, in beta on paid Claude plans. You connect a data source, such as BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or Salesforce, ask a question in plain English, and Claude builds a dashboard that keeps itself current as the underlying data changes. Clicking any number on the dashboard shows the query behind it.

The design intention is transparency as much as speed. Anthropic positions each chart as something Claude makes a first version of, with the query visible so a human can audit or adjust it. Results can be piped downstream into tools like Amplitude, Grafana, or Hex for further analysis, so the dashboard acts as a live handoff layer rather than a replacement for a team's existing BI stack.

For builders, Dashboards is interesting both as a product pattern and as a direct tool. As a pattern, it demonstrates how a coding-capable model can write and maintain query logic on behalf of non-technical users. As a tool, it reduces the gap between a business question and a working dashboard from days or hours to minutes. On Enterprise plans it is off by default and must be enabled by an admin.
